Autumn Term 2020
A huge welcome to all our new and returning families.
Sadly times are very challenging and different for us all, and we miss our daily contact with parents so very much. However please rest assured we are committed to doing our very best for your children and working in partnership with you. If you have any concerns please call school or message us via the Class Dojo and we will get back to as soon as we can.
We had a very calm and happy week in Nursery with lots of activities including; practicing yoga, making healthy snacks, water colour painting, and talking about what makes us happy.
Here are just a few of our pictures.
Welcome back and a Happy New Year!
School starts back on Monday 6th January.
This half term our topic is 'Favourite Stories'.
We will read lots of our Nursery Favourites and perhaps find some new ones.
Please send in any favourite stories from home for us to share with your child.
We've had such a busy and fun filled term! We've made our own teddies, celebrated, baked, made some new animal friends, and even visited the new local library.
School opens on Monday the 4th November and we look forward to welcoming you back for another exciting half term.
Our Topic this half term will be 'Celebrations' and we look forward to hearing about your Diwali and Bonfire Night celebrations the first week back. Please send any pictures in to show us, we would love to see them.

Are you eligible for help to pay for your childcare?
Government helps many families with childcare costs, whether you have toddlers or teens, you could get support.
Visit Childcare Choices to find out more about what you are eligible to receive and how to make childcare as cost effective as possible.
Phonics - Phase 1
This half-term we will continue our work with rhyme, alliteration and oral blending and segmenting. To practise oral blending, an adult may say the sounds from a word, such as /c/-/u/-/p/ and see whether the children can pick out a cup from a group of objects. For segmenting practise, an adult could hold up an object such as a sock and ask the children which sounds they can hear in the word sock.
We will be focusing on learning numbers, recognising them and writing them. We will also be covering floating and sinking, weight and capacity through a range of fun and exciting activities, both indoors and outdoors.
We would love see any pictures of your child on a journey that you would like to share, please send them to the email address below and we will print them off for children to share with their friends and then add them to our display:
There are a number of websites below to help your children with their learning this half term.
