We definitely explored the world in our geography-focussed first half-term and travelled through time to the Norman invasion to study how castles changed over time in the second one. 

We had so much fun reading new stories and using different genres to show how amazing we are at writing using all the non-negotiables we know. In maths, we used our knowledge of place value to add and subtract, as well as practise our number facts to solve missing number problems and solve word problems. Revisiting and reviewing our prior learning and engaging in memory recall work helped us all remember more.
